Apple TV (HD and 4K models) can play rentIPTV through an IPTV player from the App Store on the Apple TV itself.

The login details in this guide (username demo4821, password pass7395) are examples. Use the ones from your own welcome email.

Step 1: Install an IPTV player

  1. On your Apple TV, open the App Store.
  2. Search for IPTV Smarters Player Lite and install it.

Alternatives: iPlayTV (a paid app with a TV-style guide) and UHF. All three work with your rentIPTV login.

Step 2: Sign in

IPTV Smarters Player Lite

  1. Open the app and choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
  2. Enter any name, then username demo4821, password pass7395 and URL http://server1.rentiptv.com:8880.
  3. Select Add User and wait while your channels load.
  1. Choose to add a new playlist or source.
  2. Paste your categorized M3U link:
http://server1.rentiptv.com:80/get.php?username=demo4821&password=pass7395&type=m3u_plus&output=ts
  1. Where the app asks for an EPG or XMLTV link, add:
http://server1.rentiptv.com:80/xmltv.php?username=demo4821&password=pass7395

Typing long links with the Apple TV remote is slow. Many apps show a QR code or web address so you can paste the link from your phone or computer instead. If yours doesn’t, use the Apple TV Remote on your iPhone (Control Centre) to type with the phone keyboard.

Step 3: Load the TV guide

In IPTV Smarters, open Live TV and choose Refresh EPG. Other apps update the guide automatically. TV guide help.

Tips

  • Connect the Apple TV by Ethernet if you can. It’s more stable than Wi-Fi, especially for sport.
  • If channels buffer, see the buffering checklist.
