Catch-up
Some channels keep an archive of recent programmes, so you can go back and watch something that has already aired. How far back you can go depends on the channel, and not every channel has catch-up.
How to find catch-up channels
- TiviMate: channels with catch-up show a small rewind or clock icon. Open the TV guide, scroll back to an earlier programme and select it.
- IPTV Smarters Pro: on the home screen select Catch up, choose a category and channel, then the day and programme.
- XCIPTV: open the guide and select a past programme on a channel marked with the catch-up icon.
If you don’t see past programmes, refresh the TV guide first. How to refresh the guide.
Recording
Recording happens in the app on your device, not on our server, so it depends on the app and your device’s storage.
- TiviMate: recording is part of TiviMate Premium (a paid upgrade from the app’s developer). Highlight a programme in the guide and press OK > Record. Set where recordings are saved under Settings > Recording.
- IPTV Smarters Pro (Android): while a channel is playing, open the menu and choose Record. Recordings appear under Recordings on the home screen.
- iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Smart TV apps usually can’t record.
A recording uses a connection while it runs. Recording one channel while watching another counts as two devices. How many devices can I use?
Movies and series on demand
You don’t need to record films or series. More than 153,000 movies and 14,000 series are available on demand under Movies and Series in your app. Can’t find a title? Request it.
