Many movies and some channels carry more than one audio language or subtitle track. Here’s how to switch them while you watch.

TiviMate

While a channel or movie is playing, press OK to open the controls, then select the settings icon (gear) > Audio track or Subtitles.

IPTV Smarters Pro

While playing, tap the screen or press OK, then select the audio or subtitles icon at the top or bottom of the player. On some versions it’s under the three dots menu.

XCIPTV

Press OK during playback and choose the audio or CC (subtitles) icon.

VLC

Use the Audio > Audio Track and Subtitle > Sub Track menus. On a phone, tap the screen and use the speech-bubble icon.

MAG box

Press the Audio button (or F1) on the remote to cycle through audio tracks, and the Subtitles button for subtitles, where the stream has them.

No other language or subtitle available?

Then that stream doesn’t carry them. Many live channels have one language only, the channel’s own. For movies, search for the same title: there’s often a version in another language. Subtitle availability varies by title.

Wrong language on a channel

If a channel always plays in the wrong language, check that you’re on the right country’s version. Many channels exist in several countries, for example the UK and the US versions of the same sports channel.
