With more than 14,000 channels, a little tidying makes rentIPTV much easier to use. Channels are sorted into groups by country and type, for example “UK | Sports” or “USA | News”. Here’s how to keep only what you watch.
TiviMate
Add a favourite
Highlight a channel in the list and press and hold OK, then choose Add to favourites. Favourites appear as their own group at the top.
Hide groups you don’t watch
- Go to Settings > Playlists, select your playlist, then Manage groups.
- Untick the groups you don’t want. You can untick everything and tick back only the countries you watch.
- Use the same screen to drag groups into the order you like.
IPTV Smarters Pro
Add a favourite
While browsing Live TV, highlight a channel and press and hold OK (or tap the heart icon on a phone), then Add to favourites. Find them under the Favourites category.
Hide categories
Smarters can’t hide categories on every version, but you can use Settings > Parental control to lock categories you never want to see. Locked categories are hidden until you enter your PIN.
XCIPTV
Highlight a channel and press and hold OK to add it to favourites. To hide categories, go to Settings > Hide categories (called Live categories in some versions).
Search instead of scrolling
Every app has a search. Searching for a channel name or a country code such as “UK” or “USA” is often the fastest way to find something.
Your favourites are saved on each device
Favourites and hidden groups are stored in the app, so you’ll need to set them up on each device. Some apps, including TiviMate, can back up and restore settings under Settings > Backup data.
