Fire TV Sticks are the most popular way to watch rentIPTV, and most problems on them have a quick fix.
The app crashes or won’t open
- Force stop it: Settings > Applications > Manage installed applications > your app > Force stop.
- Clear the cache: same screen > Clear cache. This doesn’t remove your login.
- Restart the stick: Settings > My Fire TV > Restart.
- Still crashing? Select Clear data (you’ll need to sign in again), or uninstall and reinstall with Downloader. Downloader guide.
“Not enough storage” or installs fail
Fire TV Sticks have little storage. In Settings > Applications > Manage installed applications, uninstall apps you don’t use, and in Downloader delete old installer files from the Files tab.
Buffering or freezing
- Restart the stick and your router.
- Move the router closer, use 5 GHz Wi-Fi, or add an Ethernet adapter for the stick.
- Check Settings > My Fire TV > About > Network for signal strength.

The remote doesn’t work in the app
- Replace the batteries.
- Re-pair it: hold Home for 10 seconds.
- Some apps are designed for touch screens. Use TiviMate, XCIPTV or IPTV Smarters, which work well with a remote.
“Unknown sources” or install blocked
Downloader needs permission to install apps: Settings > My Fire TV > Developer options > Install unknown apps > Downloader: ON. If you don’t see Developer options, go to My Fire TV > About and select your device name 7 times.
Picture is the wrong size or blurry
Settings > Display & Sounds > Display > Video resolution: set it to Auto or your TV’s resolution.
