The IPTV app isn’t in my TV’s app store

Smart TV app stores vary by country and model, and IPTV apps are often removed. Your options:

  • Plug in a Fire TV Stick or Android TV stick. This is the most reliable fix and every app works on it. Fire TV guide.
  • Try another app: IBO Player Pro or Smart STB. See the Samsung and LG guides.
  • Mirror from your phone: use Smart View (Samsung) or screen sharing/AirPlay (LG, with an iPhone).

The playlist won’t load

  • Check you pasted the full M3U link with nothing missing at the end. Your login explained.
  • Apps that use the app maker’s website (such as IBO Player Pro) need you to restart the app after adding the playlist.
  • If the app’s trial has ended, it stops loading playlists until you pay the app maker’s activation fee.

Channels load but don’t play

  1. Update the TV’s software: Samsung Settings > Support > Software update; LG Settings > General > About this TV > Check for updates.
  2. Restart the TV by unplugging it for one minute. (Turning it off with the remote often only puts it on standby.)
  3. Try another channel. If only one channel fails, report it at http://server1.rentiptv.com:8880/fix/.

Buffering or picture stutter

  • Connect the TV by Ethernet if you can. Smart TV Wi-Fi is often weaker than a phone’s.
  • Turn off motion smoothing (Picture Clarity on Samsung, TruMotion on LG).
  • Buffering checklist.

Smart STB or MAC-based apps

“STB blocked” or “not authorised” means the MAC address doesn’t match our records. Smart STB guide.
