LG Smart TVs run LG’s own system (webOS), so Android apps such as TiviMate can’t be installed on them. You still have good options.
The login details in this guide (username demo4821, password pass7395) are examples. Use the ones from your own welcome email.
Your options
Smart TV app stores change often and many IPTV apps come and go. There are three reliable ways to watch:
- Plug in a Fire TV Stick or Android TV box (recommended). Cheap, fast and every IPTV app works on it. Follow the Fire TV Stick guide.
- Install an IPTV player from your TV’s app store. See the steps below.
- Use Smart STB, which makes your TV work like a set-top box. Smart STB guide. This needs a MAC address account, so tell us at checkout.
Finding apps on an LG TV
Press the Home button on your remote and open the LG Content Store (called Apps on newer models), then use the search.
Installing an IPTV player from the app store
Search your TV’s app store for IPTV Smarters Pro. If it’s available, install it, choose Login with Xtream Codes API, and enter:

If it isn’t available, apps such as IBO Player Pro work in a different way. They don’t have a login screen; you add your playlist on the app maker’s website instead:
- Install the app and open it. Write down the MAC address and device key shown on screen.
- On your phone or computer, go to the app maker’s website (it’s shown in the app) and sign in with that MAC address and device key.
- Choose Add playlist and paste your categorized M3U link:

- Back on the TV, restart the app. Your channels appear.
Apps like IBO Player Pro usually include a free trial, then ask for a one-time activation fee paid to the app maker, not to us. A Fire TV Stick often costs about the same and is easier to use.
Tips for LG TVs
- Connect the TV by Ethernet for the most stable picture.
- If the picture stutters, turn off TruMotion in the TV’s picture settings.
- See Smart TV troubleshooting if something doesn’t work.
